Gays and Lesbians
There have always been gay and lesbian relationships among us. However, they are still taboo in society. Not only in the Czech Republic, but all over the world. In some parts of the world they still condemn homosexual families. They are also so ashamed of homosexuals that they sometimes expel them from their families. There are even marches specifically directed at homosexual couples. But is that really appropriate? Is it really normal? In my opinion, it is the people who commit such acts who are at fault. I think it is still a taboo subject right now. And it is rarely talked about. Historically, it has been treated as a disease and must be dealt with.
And it was dealt with by mental hospitals and electroshock therapy. We don\’t do that anymore. At least not here in Europe. Rather, it is now dealt with in such a way that homosexual relationships are treated equally with heterosexual relationships. Because homosexuals have the right to be happy. In my opinion, they also have the right to a marriage license. And they should have the right to adopt. Of course, after a test that all parents who wish to adopt must pass. Homosexuality is not a disease. Because there is nothing to be ashamed of. Because there is nothing to be ashamed of.
Homosexual relationships are slightly different from heterosexual relationships. When men cohabitate, they deal with issues such as who will be the breadwinner. The same is true with regard to dominance in sex. Another is who does the housework in such a relationship. For heterosexuals, it is obvious. It is customary for the woman to do most of the work at home. As for the men in the couple, let\’s make a list. Men in couples can get children through foster care. Or by adopting a partner\’s child or through so-called surrogacy. Gay men must always consider gender issues and whether the two men are worthy role models for their children. And whether it is the right thing to do. Most of the time, the children do not reach them. But you never know what the future holds. Nor what it may bring. But above all, let us remember that it is important to treat them with love.
